not until/ not within (a time limit) Explanation: This Danish use of 'først' took me some time to get used to when I was learning the language ;-) Det var først efter et stykke tid, at jeg vænnede mig til at bruge 'først' på den måde på dansk. Or, as Nudansk Ordbog explains it: ... 2. ikke før et bestemt tidspunkt el. en bestemt situation foreligger ¯ jeg kan først være der klokken 12 · den næste bus går først om en halv time · vi fandt først ud af det da vi kom hjem · jeg så ham først næste dag · du kan først få en is når du har spist op If a breach of the rules does not come to xxx's knowledge within two days after the end of the match... If xxx the breach of the rules is first brought to xxx's attention more than two days after ...
