reduceret i størrelserne reduced the choice (of the selection of models/wood) available?? Explanation: The text is badly written. "størrelse" can also mean "dimension", but why repeat it with another word then? In my answer, I consider that we could be talking about "størrelsen af vareudvalget", even though that could have been better expressed. However, reducing the dimensions is a mystery in the context of too little showroom space. Even though technically possible, it would seem more than weird to make furniture smaller with the only purpose of squeezing more items into the showroom. Is he talking about a more abstract meaning of "dimension" like in "large scale promotion"? If at all possible, go back and ask the client for an explanation of this. I'm a native Dane and I don't understand what they are trying to say. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr 55 mins (2004-12-08 03:41:13 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- After the text you added, it seems we\'re on the right track. It looks like for the types of wood concerned, fewer different models of furniture will be available. It looks like they use \"dimension\" about something like a group of furniture models - a series - collection or whatever. It\'s the first time I\'ve seen the word used like that, and it\'s probably either local to that business or perhaps wooden furniture business. Or it\'s a new, abused marketing buzzword. |
