In case it makes a difference, I'd better mention that this is a long report on the history and events behind the Galmond/telephony case. I'm also pretty tired, which might be preventing me from seeing exactly what is meant ;). I can now see it in the first instance, having been confused by the number of times where 'selskab' meant company in this document, but the second one looks more colloquial and I'm not sure of the sense.

I see. Part of the word actually comes up elsewhere and I can't understand the sentence there either: Og NN var som person ikke vellidt bland russerne. Han blev oplevet som en snobbet og arrogant person, der ikke havde naere personlige relationer med nogen russere, og some ikke egnede sig til de vodka-fester, som russerne er eksperter i at arrangere, blot køleskabet har ”et års fødselsdag”.
Here it is obviously birthday, but I can't tell whether the text is being sarcastic about NN and his alcohol preferences compared to the Russians, or whether it's just saying that he happened to drink 'at that time' because there was a birthday going on.

You problems probably is due to the word "at" which I believe should be "et", which means "a" birthday party. This fellow was at a birthday party where he told YY that he was the one who ...............
