Danish to English translations [Non-PRO]
Danish term or phrase: Baade Jeff og jeg er meget glade for at du er begyndt at tage med os i byen igen
General
Jake
English translation:Jeff and I are both very pleased that you have started going out with us again
Explanation:
Although "by" means *city* or *town* to "gå i byen" is a common Danish expression for going out.

The first translation which was given would, however, have been correct had the "med os" been "os med".

Thank you. Yours was better then the first one and I appreciate the forklaring. This person is a smartass and I took the first interpretation wrong because of the "taking us to town" part. I thought she was joking. Yours makes it out to be just a nice comment.
