But: If you are talking about the wealth or pool of talent and expertise within, say, an acquired company, then one could talk of "talent capital" or maybe "expertise capital." "Competence," as many have pointed out, shows up consistenly on English translations of Scandinavian content. I try to avoid it at all costs.
