Dutch to English translations [Non-PRO]
General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
Dutch term or phrase: leuk
While I know this word has connotations of something enjoyable or fun, I'm wondering whether it could sometimes be translated as "interesting", in situations where that's the important factor in creating an enjoyable experience.

For example:

een leuk museum - an interesting museum
leuke kraampjes - interesting stalls
een leuke historische plaats - an interesting historical site

(As distinct from een leuk strand, een leuk restaurant, een leuke handtas, etc.)

Or is that taking too much artistic licence?
