custodian foundation Explanation: What I have found until now seems to indicate that this is a specific name "Stichting bewaarbedrijf XX" and there are several of these in The Netherlands. Having said this, the definition of a 'bewaarbedrijf' can be found at the indicated link. The closest I have found to this definition is custodian bank. See reference in wikipedia. depository trust company / custodian company Explanation: The problem is that a "stichting", in effect a foundation, is not the same as a trust in the Anglo-Saxon sense, for which there is no equivalent under Dutch law ("Administratiekantoor" being the Dutch legal solution to such a trust). |
