Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s)
Dutch term or phrase: die zich sterk maakt
How do you say 'die zich sterk maakt' in this context, top of an agreement?

Bedrijf XXXX

http://www.standaard.be/cnt/dst10122002_083 explains it

who warrants performance by a third party

Based on the refs I gave (JurLex, FELOnline, and the two previous KudoZ questions), I'd say it means something like this.

also just found this in the online version of Le Docte:

sterkmaking de [België] [burgerlijk recht]

FR: porte-fort m; convention (f) de porte-fort
EN: promise guaranteeing performance by a third party; contract of porte-fort
DE: Versprechen (n) der Leistung eines Dritten

Notes to answerer
So he can't actually guarantee anything, just do his best, like a best-efforts commitment

I think the idea is "acting on the company's behalf in this contract".

Kate Hudson wrote/quoted the following @ https://www.proz.com/kudoz/dutch_to_english/law:_contracts/1... :

28 With regard to the SURETY UNDERTAKING raised by the Commission at the hearing,
suffice it to note that no document capable of establishing the existence of such an undertaking appears in the Court’s file.

(CELEX Documents of the European Court of Justice pt4.tmx)

1. A person who takes responsibility for another's performance of an undertaking, for example their appearing in court or paying a debt.
1.1 Money given to support an undertaking that someone will perform a duty, pay their debts, etc.; a guarantee.
