I am translating a letter from French to English, however the person that it is addressed to is Dutch and I do not want to make a mistake on his last name. Is Evert-Jan a Dutch first name? It is followed by another name that seems to be a last name, it is English sounding to me. (for confidentiality, I will not give the full name). All three names are in lower case letters so I suspect that it has been written as in English, first name first. In French, it is often written last name first, that is why I would like a confirmation. Thank you very much for your help.
