This is from an eBay listing for a car. I am not a Dutch speaker! I could understand most of the listing since it's somewhat close to German, but I wanted to know the meaning of this word. This is a personal request of the ProZ members.

Thanks!!!

sport seats
Explanation:
The word "stoel" means "seat" (it can also mean "stool" or "chair" in different contexts). "Stoelen" is the plural form.

If you do a monolingual search for "sport seats" in Yahoo or Google", you'll get tons of hits in an automotive context.

Aha! Great! Excellent explanation.

My wife and I are looking to bid on car to use during our vacation in NL.

Now, you wouldn't just *happen* to know if I can actually register it to myself on NL plates as an American, would you?? ;)

Thank you very much!!! :)))
