What Marijke offers is fine, but you could say it more concisely: We can justifiably speak of a explosive growth... (or: It is justifiable to speak of explosive growth...)

(I don't always agree with Word's utter rejection of the passive voice, but in general passive is used in Dutch a lot more than in English)
