Dutch term or phrase: various uses of 'de verzekering'
I can't seem to make much sense out of this fraud case, because I have no background info. But these 2 sentences are a particular problem. I would be grateful for help with the whole lot, as it would put some other bits into perspective:
'Enerzijds zegt hij dat de heer X de verzekering betaald heeft maar dat de verzekering fraudulent is. Anderzijds dat de verzekering niet hoeft te betalen omdat hij de principals al heeft uitbetaald.' Is it just me, or does it look like it should be 'Anderzijds dat HIJ de verzekering niet ...'? Is it just 'insurance' or is this about an 'insurance COMPANY'.

Explanation:
Beste collega,
Ik moet je zeggen dat de zin niet uitblinkt door duidelijkheid. Wellicht was het als volgt bedoeld, maar helemaal zeker ben ik daar niet van:
Enerzijds zegt hij dat de heer X de verzekeringspremies betaald heeft, maar dat de afgesloten verzekering fraudulent is. Anderzijds dat de verzekeringsmaatschappij niet hoeft te betalen omdat hij de principals al heeft uitbetaald.
Met vriendelijke groet, Daniel Meturgan

Thank you for shedding some light on that! The whole text was very casual in its tone, written almost like a stream of consciousness.
I have awarded Daniel the points for being the first to actually give me a good Dutch version - once I had that, the translation wasn't a problem, but thanks to Jarry anyway.

A likely translation of the sentence would be as follows:

Explanation:
On the one hand, he says that Mr X paid the insurance (premium), but that the insurance (policy) was entered into fruadulently. And on the other hand that the insurance (company) does not have to pay since it already paid the principals. I fully agree with Meturgan that this is poor Dutch indeed.
Good luck
