Dutch term or phrase: leertraject
I haven't ever needed help with this term before, because it has always been quite straightforward in the context. The difficulty this time is that the Dutch author has put in a hybrid term 'business case learning traject'. Would you use 'training programme'? The pure Dutch term appears like this:
In een groep van 12 deelnemers brengt iedere deelnemer bij de start van het leertraject een bedrijfsvraagstuk in.

training or learning program(me)
Explanation:
'leertraject' is just a more fancy way of referring to a special kind of trainingsprogramme, whereby emphasis is given to learning by doing it yourself whereby the approach is non-directive

- a bit like in 'Action Learning', an educational approach based on the principle of 'learning by doing' but with the main difference that Action learning involves groups of managers who come together periodically to work on real life organisational problems;
Mind you, even though there are resemblances with learning programmes, AL stands in direct contrast to traditional, business-school-based management development programmes...

Other terms related to this subject are: 'Learning Community (Peer Learning Community)', 'Learning Organisation' (a more structured version of a 'Learning Community'), Autonomous learning group, etc

9 hrs
course

Explanation:
That is the shortest answer, thazt covers all bets. Van Daele lists
course = loop (dat is dan ook in richting "verloop" i.e. traject.
But in English a course is of course also a "studie richting" or "vak".
I think this should fit fine in the context.

Explanation:
When this question was first sent to me I didn't have the context now provided. Learning curve is obviously NOT the correct answer in this case.
