Thanks to everybody for helping out! I thought the Dutch wording was a little awkward. I'm hesitant about the 'surplus' in the phraseology as to me this word has a different connotation to me. I knew it was an additional insurance, and am happy with Jarry's answer and explanation as it was basically the term I was looking for.
