salary savings scheme/ employee savings scheme Explanation: This is another way for the employer to hold on to your money a bit longer! Usually involving shady tax benefits and all manner of trickery.... but that's my experience. Basically it's a scheme operated by employers or an association thereof, a certain amount is deducted from your wage/salary and deposited in a savings account.
