Dutch term or phrase: ...dwz mag afgehouden worden
I can't seem to make sense of this:
Hierbij bevestig ik U dat een bedrag van 000 voor reservatie van de betalingen van onze firma, dwz mag afgehouden worden. Why the dwz?

i.e./meaning
Explanation:
'dwz' (i.e. / meaning /...) makes no sense here, unless e.g. a company name would follow or another verb would precede 'dwz'

'payment in the amount of xxx for the reservation (of something) may be deducted from our company's disbursements/payments' - could be in a memo to someone - whole sentence isn't very clear.

Explanation:
What the company is saying is that an amount will be retained to pay this company, that is to say this money will be held back.
