Dutch term or phrase: laser scoop
I am currently working on a technical translation (see also other KudoZ questions), and am struggling with the above term (concerning laser units).

I have tried to provide as much context as possible:

I found very few references (either Kluwer or Google), so all suggestions are welcome!

KudoZ points will be awarded within 72 hours.

Many thanks,

Anne

Or 'laser scope', although this can be confused with laser telescopic sights on firearms.

Notes to answerer
Asker: You're right Ken - I got a bit too creative there! I added the "laser" bit in the heading to provide a bit more context. Apologies for the confusion!

agree  Ken Cox: Just 'oscilloscope' or 'scope' in this case. It's not a laser oscilloscope (Anne got a bit too creative here), but instead an oscilloscope used in the procedure. 'Scope' and 'scoop' (what do you call that? a phonetic translation?) are both slang..
