Omdat bouwcontracten in internationale scheepvaartposten bijna altijd worden beheerst door Engels recht wordt een assignment in plaats van een pledge gebruikt. - as building contracts in international shipping items/units/issues are almost always dominated/determined by English law an assignment is used instead of a pledge
