Dutch term or phrase: op condities
Again, this is from a legal translation I'm currently working on. The context/sentence is as follows:

"[....] zich het object ten behoeve van [....] te verzekeren en verzekerd te houden tegen alle risico's ter zake van het object, zowel betreffende diefstal, beschadiging of tenietgaan daarvan, alsook schade, direct of indirect veroorzaakt door het object, zulks op condities en bij verzekeraars ten genoege van [....]

I'm not used to seeing "conditie" used in the plural form, and was therefore a little puzzled by what it might mean in the context of this particular sentence.

Any suggestions welcome!

I think condities is being used in the same way as 'voorwaarden' (i.e. terms).

They give the following:
3. Ten einde te waarborgen dat de ontwikkelingslanden tot deze Overeenkomst kunnen toetreden op voorwaarden die in overeenstemming zijn met hun behoeften op het gebied van ontwikkeling, financiën en handel, wordt bij de onderhandelingen betreffende de lijsten van de instanties van de ontwikkelingslanden waarop de bepalingen van deze Overeenkomst van toepassing zijn, naar behoren rekening gehouden met de in lid lid 1 genoemde doelstellingen.

15.3. This Agreement shall be open to accession by any other government on terms, related to the effective application of rights and obligations under this Agreement, to be agreed between that government and the Parties, by the deposit with the Director-General to the Contracting Parties to the GATT of an instrument of accession which states the terms so agreed.


The only instance of 'condities' (the plural) I found was when an adjective was put in front and it meant 'terms'. For example:
op gemakkelijke condities = on easy terms.
