Dutch to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Health Care / gynecology, operations
Dutch term or phrase: ondermijnen huid en klieven verbindingen
In the sentence "Met schaartje "skinning", ondermijnen huid en klieven verbindingen met subcutane weefsel."

This is in the report/summary section of a Vulval intraepithelial neoplasia III operation. One vulva pain sufferers' organization website I found cites that one risk of the surgical treatment for this precancerous condition can be distortion of the underlying anatomy of the vulva resulting from the tissue removal/scarring at the affected region. I think that relates to supporting the subcutaneous tissue but not sure that's on the right track. After that, the job is stitched up with Vicryl Rapid coated sutures.
