agree  Dave Greatrix: I have hidden my answer as this is more accurate I believe. However, I would say "member of the Army Board" and omit "staff".

  -> Thanks! No, the Army Board consists of various heads of departments etc, i.e. high-ranking officers. The staff are the support personnel for the Board, not the actual members!
