Aan HUREX 2001 werd deelgenomen door vlootpersoneel en mariniers afkomstig van zowel Curaçao als Aruba, verder te noemen ‘detachement SSS-eilanden’ (DETSSS). Aan het detachement waren twee WD-ers van MBParera toegevoegd voor werkzaamheden aan een antennemast op Fort William (SXM). Het eerder genoemde DART bestond uit vier officieren van de Koninklijke Landmacht en voegde zich op 11 juni op Curaçao bij het detachement.

Het personeel was tijdens de oefening als volgt verdeeld over de eilanden;

Explanation:
If "personnel" seems to businesslike for you, the above suggestion is the usual term for any group of military personnel. It however sometimes does not fit into our times anymore, as there are women in many armed forces units these days.
