Dutch to English translations [PRO]
Dutch term or phrase:zoekertje
It is a Dutch word xhich refers to a certain section in a newpaper. In this section, people often ask for a penmate or to swap things with someone else.
Explanation: The word "zoekertje" comes from "zoeker"="somebody/something which seeks"; the ending "-tje" means small but that should not be taken too serious. The Dutch hang on the "-tje" very liberally without meaning ANYTHING! You could hedge your bets by writing "small/little advertisement".

Explanation: Where is the text going? If it's for the US, these small ads are called "classifieds" (i.e. they have classified sections for all different kinds, personal, selling stuff, offering stuff etc.)
