It's hard to say without having some more context, but could NCR possibly be the name of a company that is active in the field of logistics? It seems to me that they develop software solutions for warehouse management and the like. Does this fit in?

This was the exact answer I was looking for - I spent ages trying to work out the meaning of this abbreviation, and in the context of this particular translation it fits in perfectly. Excellent and very useful references.
