certificate of indemnification Explanation: (Van Dalen) I have a sense that in the context of car insurance it refers to a 'release' as in 'release from claim/liability' signed by the insured after the car has been repaired, indicating that (s)he accepts that all claims relating to the accident have been settled. |

You can recognise an approved dealer by the green-and-white striped shield with the inscription: ‘Erkend bedrijf voor de afgifte van RDW vrijwaringsbewijzen’ (‘Approved dealer for the issue of RDW official warranties against liability’). (they actually say notice, but certificate is better IMHO). Buying a car ... name. Important. If you are selling a car, you will receive a notice of non-liability (Vrijwaringsbewijs) at the Post office.
