Dutch to English translations [PRO]
Dutch term or phrase: cultuurtekst
Part of a form of the Amsterdam Kadaster (Land Registry).
Example:
Cultuurtekst: Bedrijfspand
Cultuurtekst: Huisµ

It is obviously the description of the type of object being registered. However, what precisely is meant by this term and how would it be translated in GB.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Matijke - you again.
I think I may have to buy Van End.
By the way, this is that text from Israel.
Thank your lkucxky stars you did not get the order.
The translation is a pain, especially because of the layout problems.
Regards,
Alexander

Item descriptor

Explanation:
This is a common term used in the Dutch Land Registry system. Here, "cultuur" refers to any kind of object (land, building; either man-made or cultivated) that can be entered in the registry. I think "item" is sufficiently general to capture this idea. Perhaps "registry item" might also work. The "tekst" means "descriptor" in this context.
