Is this just an 'overall prize'? The init. cap. is confusing me. Not sure how points/handicaps work so can't work out how this guy fared compared to the Challenge winner.

This is a business school's Golf Challenge.

De x Alumni Golf Challenge cup werd dit jaar gewonnen door ... Dit jaar werd er ook een **Brut prijs** geschonken. Deze werd gewonnen door … (gast) die met een handicap van 8,7 27 punten behaalde.

Overall prize
Explanation:
This answer is based on my own experience as a golfer, after reading the reference listed below (which seems to the source document).

Looking at all the categories and the handicaps of the players, the winner of the 'brut prijs' seems to be the best overall golfer and he would've won had handicaps not existed in golf, i.e. he completed the round having played the fewest shots.

Correction: he completed the round having played the fewest STROKES, not shots. My apologies to fellow golf players offended by that :)
