Depending on the context it could be this.
This was used in the company where I worked.
The IT department had a disaster recovery plan in case something went wrong with our servers.(or if anything worse happended)

neutral  Tina Vonhof: It may be a slight difference but I think the word 'recovery' indicates that this is what happens after the disaster happens as opposed to dealing with the disaster itself at the time it happens.
