Plant propagation from cuttings
Explanation:
This seems to be the standard expression for this activity, which, I assume, is what you are looking for. Take a look at this article:

http://www.rooting-hormones.com/

“Introduction to Plant Propagation:

... Plants propagated from cuttings have the same characteristics as the parent plant. The rapid generation of new adventitious roots is necessary for the plant to transport water and essential nutrients from the media...”

propagation of cuttings

Explanation:
this jumpted to mind. perhaps you can research some nursery sites on Internet. I would be wary to add the word 'material', depending on the context.

material reproduced by cuttings

Explanation:
a stek is a cutting, a part of a twig that is put into the earth and grows roots - it is not a graft, which would be used for veredeling and not for vermeerdering.

plants grown/developed from cuttings

Explanation:
is really simple, but perhaps all that would be needed in the context as this is obviously what is meant? I thought that grafts only apply to fruit trees and rose bushes, but I could be wrong. One is grown from dirt and the other grafted onto another plant or tree.

The difference between propagating by means of cuttings or

Explanation:
grafting, and hence the difference between "vermeerderen" and "veredelen", seems to be purely academic.
This is demonstrated by the meaning of the word 'scion' = 'a shoot of a plant, etc. especially one CUT for grafting or planting'.
Your question could therefore best be answered by: scion propagation

their activities consist of the propagation of plants started from cuttings

Explanation:
Actually, it's six of one and half a dozen of the other. I really don't mean to criticise, but I guess I love to debate. Scion is a lovely word. However, although the original meaning may be off-shoot, I think most people would connect it to human off-spring. Such as "Willem-Alexander, a scion of the Orange dynasty . . ." How many nurseries would advertise their plants as scions? Sssst, don't tell the advertising writers . . . . we might have just set a new trend! I hope you don't mind me going back and forth on this. As you can tell, I take my time thinking it over. But this is it (really!) I think it's wonderful people joining in the fray and bringing in solutions.
