If the register is advertising or publlic relations as stated may be an expression like \"sibling firm\" was used which would suggest the use of شقيق or شقيقة in this context, rather than صنو or أخ/أخت

صنو means same as, counterpart,equal, double or peer iand is a literary lexiacal item. It doesn\'t have any connotation of original or parental brotherhood in Arabic; such denotations are present in the English \"sibling\".
