In the quoted sentence, "dialectically" is used in the Hegelian-Marxian sense, not in the Socratic sense.

Socrates, as far as we know, did not practice philosophy (or social action) by writing, but rather by engaging in a special kind of debate or argument that came to be known as "dialectic," from the Greek term "dialektike" ("debate"). It is more commonly known as "the Socratic method." In Arabic, we call it جدل

In the quoted sentence, the term is used differently. It alludes to the term "dialectic" as used by Hegel in the construction of his system, and later on by Feuerbach, Marx, Engels, and their followers in the construction of their various systems. Dialectic in this sense is explained by the American Heritage Dictionary as follows:

1. In Hegel's system, it is the process of arriving at the truth by stating a thesis, developing a contradictory antithesis, and combining and resolving them into a coherent synthesis.

2. In the Marxian system, it is the process of change through the conflict of opposing forces, whereby a given contradiction is characterized by a primary and a secondary aspect, the secondary succumbing to the primary, which is then transformed into an aspect of a new contradiction.

Sometimes, this is also called جدل, but to distinguish it from the ordinary meaning of the term جدل, most writers use ديالكتيك
