Glossary entry (derived from question below)
English term or phrase:
set up
Arabic translation:
أبهج / أدلل نفسي
English term
set up
In the sentence:
"we need nuts. I know I'm setting myself up here, but, honestly, the warm nuts in New York are so good."
By "here," she refers to New York City.
How can we best translate "I'm setting myself up here"
What I can get so far is that she wants to start her own business and needs to every penny but she likes nut! So I'd say جئت لتأسيس شركة ? IT's so confusing, She hasn't specified anything.
Thanks a lot.

There is no relation with business here as the following sentence is about the good warm nuts in NY.

she's saying "honestly, the warm nuts in New York are so good." not I am getting nuts!! "But" as an excuse for "honestly, the warm nuts in New York are so good."
The two parts of the sentence seem to be contradictory. So if its أدلل نفسي then what is the problem in her getting nuts (she says "but honestly") |
Sp we can see that "but " here is like "and"? |
