English to Arabic translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Computers: Software / Digital Identity
English term or phrase: Identity
- The word IDENTITY is being preceded by the word SPHERE, for example SPHERE 身份认证.

- The use-case is that the word SPHERE in English and IDENTITY in 7 different languages are inserted in an animated logo of the eponymous company. SPHERE remains the same, and IDENTITY is shown in different languages, one after another.

- This logo is to be used in presentations and a brief for company video, the goal is to involve international audience. So for Arabic it means all Arabic-speaking countries.

- The company is an International Identity solution provider. For more details please follow the link:

- Please think whether it is better to transliterate it instead of translating - it might be the case if any translation of IDENTITY preceded by SPHERE
will sound unnatural in target language and weird in terms of brand perception. Some of the fluent speakers of other languages (Russian, Malay and Hindi) have chosen this option, but it might be completely different in Arabic-speaking countries.

- If you think that translation is needed, please keep in mind it should reflect the vision of the company / key features of the product. It should also sound natural enough and must NOT have insulting/funny/etc. connotation.

- Please note that SPHERE IDENTITY\'s company name and their products names are different use-cases and are to be considered separately from this animated logo use-case. For example, even though the word IDENTITY for the logo will be transliterated or translated into Russian, the product name in Russian market will remain in English.

Please let me know which option is appropriate in your opinion, as I speak only 3 languages, and unfortunately, none of them is Arabic.

Many thanks for all your help.
