Според Лингвох3+ батат, сладък картоф е американски диалект за yam. Т. е. без достатъчно контекст не е ясно за какво става дума. Освен това темата на въпроса е грешна.

PONS го имам в електронен вид и от файловете със словника (engbul.dat, buleng.dat - текстови файлове, отварят се с WordPad, Notepad) може да се види чрез копиране от текстовия файл в Word, че броят на заглавните думи и в двете посоки е малко над 30 000, което е твърде малко. Те се хвалят с общия брой думи и изрази, че е 100 000, което, дори да е вярно, не е показателно само по себе си. Българско-английската част на ПОНС има според Word 34 197 думи, а английско-българската – 33 483 думи, като в тях влизат обаче съкращенията и собствените имена. Дори SA Dictionary има повече заглавни думи - над 40 000, макар че и там лъжат че имало 100 000 думи. Но там заглавните думи се броят по друг начин, тъй като ги няма в "явен" вид в текстови файл.
