турбинен цех

Explanation:
Терминът, който е за предпочитане в техническата домунтация е "турбинен цех". Виж чертежа в линка. Турбинна зала се употребява в говорния език. От втория линк се вижда, че се има предвид не самата зала, а цялото съоръжение - т.е. е турбинен цех. Освен това има тенминът "boiler island" (виж втория линк), което е котелен цех (и много рядко се нарича котелна зала).

(device) island се употребява като (контактна) площадка.
Кондензат от ТГ обикновено има при задвижване на
генераторите с парни турбини, така че по-скоро е
от ТГ залата

Колегата ЛК е напълно прав, че обикновено се употребява "цех" и в документацията, и в професионалния жаргон.
Само че в такъв случай в оригинала би трябвало да е shop, workshop, department, unit.
След като има island, явно е нещо отделено/обособено и не се отнася до целия цех (ако въобще има цех).
Освен ако авторите изобретяват нови понятия.
