neroztruuj mojí přezdívku
"A handle" is an assumed name used in nonsecure communication which anybody else can hear or see.
I have never seen or heard it translated. Ham radio operators used "handle" to simply mean "name". In the days of CB (Citizen Band) radio in the seventies people changed its meaning to "an assumed name" to avoid using call letters or other means of positive identification. It is easily applicable to any communications.

To answer \"srubkova\'s\" concern: If the word \"roztruovat\" can be used only with \"drby\" or some other unsavory subject, we still have to convey the idea of \"broadcasting\", rather than just \"using\".
An alternative to \"roztruovat\" could be \"roziřovat\". Thus, \"neroziřuj mojí přezdívku\". If that\'s objectionable for the same reason as \"roztruovat\", I\'d like somebody to tell me what other word would perform the function of \"broadcast\". \"Pouívat na veřejnosti\" won\'t do because the intent of \"using publicly\" is not the same as \"broadcast\". The intention of broadcasting is to reach as many recipients as possible, rather than just not exercising the right to communicate privately.

Zenny Sadlon
: It's not a matter of simply using it, but of broadcasting it.

: "Don't broadcast the handle" is a rather slangy expression and needs to be conveyed as such. To use "nepouzivej" is really not strong enough word in this context. Even so "roztrusovat" fits better with "drby" it could easily be used here.

neroztrubuj nikde moje jméno
And what about this one: neroztubuj nikde moje jméno. I think it's slangy enough. Still have no idea yet what to do with the "handle".

Zenny Sadlon
: You are right abou "neroztrubuj", wrong about "name". Read my explanation to find out what "handle" is. :-)
