Strategie, která zvyšuje ceny s rostoucí a snižuje je s klesající poptávkou. Tuto strategii často používají provozovatelé taxislužeb a výrobci elektřiny vzhledem k různém nákladům na elektřinu v různých denních časech.

  • Takzvané dynamické ceny (surge pricing) se vypočítávají podle poptávky. Tento systém míří především na řidiče. Vyšší cena zakázky v době zvýšené poptávky motivuje více řidičů, čímž se adekvátně zvýší i nabídka. -
