libro -are "balanceren"), waarmee een langzame schommeling (echt of
schijnbaar) van een satelliet wordt aangeduid, zoals gezien vanaf het
hemellichaam waar die satelliet omheen draait. Meestal wordt met de term de
libratie van de maan bedoeld.
