(bottom) paper pit

English term or phrase: (bottom) paper pit

"Methylene Chloride tends to accumulate in the lowest parts of the foam line, like the bottom paper pit. "

I suspect (but I´m not 100% sure) that the "bottom" part refers to the lower paper pit, as if also a "top paper pit" might exist.
