Lettend op het eindresultaat, is een 'lobe' geen insnoering maar een uitstulping [ = rounded projection]. Kijk, in geval van twijfel, ff in je scheerspiegel van een paar dagen geleden naar 'earlobes' [= oorlellen]. Afgaand op 'asker's' bovengenoemd 'fascinerend gezicht' is hopelijk het meest illustratieve alternatief voor 'gebogen' te vinden, bijv.: (half)ronde / buigende / (half/deels)cirkelvormige / kromme /ovale Aangezien er 'gelobde valschermen/parachutes' bestaan, zou bovendien geopteerd kunnen worden voor variaties als 'gelobde uitstulpingen'.
