Het is inderdaad een "voorblad" als het gaat om een blad tussen verschillende afdruktaken. Hier gaat het echter om een papierformaat en de juiste vertaling is:

Kettingpapier A4
Dit is het papiersoort waar de pagina's aan elkaar zijn gekoppeld met zo'n scheurrand.

Wellicht dat er andere mogelijkheden zijn, maar deze term wordt veelvuldig gebruikt, onder andere in de Lexmark-printerstuurprogramma's.
