Moi aussi je pense qu' en Anglais on devrait dire "graphic function" et non pas "graphism function"

désolé pour mon erreur : l\'Anglais dit \"graphing\" et non pas \"graphism\" mais j\'ai l\'impressiion aue cela ne change pas grand chose

Explanation:
Graphique, comme adjectif, veut dire "qui a rapport au procédés d'impression artistique" (Larousse). Comme nom, "graphique" désigne une courbe qui représente des valeurs.

On dit bel et bien "graphing function", en anglais: ça veut dire "(fonction) pour tracer un/des graphiques". Comparer: "He spent the entire day graphing" (...à faire des...) avec "He spent the entire day graphic" (il a été complètement débile toute la journée).

Un graphique, en anglais, c'est un "graph" et non un "graphic" (qui, comme nom, égale "élément graphique").
