Landlord will install emergency exit lighting at all exit doors to shell condition, per local code. neutral  Tony M: I think here they're talking about the shop unit etc. being rented out as an 'empty shell' — but this doesn't necessarily mean at the original buildign stage; it could be a subsequent let.

agree  B D Finch: Re Tony's comment above, I disagree and think this has to be for an initial let after construction works. It is essential to correct the header term to "condition", not "conditions".

disagree  Tony M: 'conditions' does not mean 'cahier des charges' in this context, where 'condition = state; and 'shell' only = 'gros œuvre' in certain specific context (i.e., generally, when building a new construction; this doesn't appear to be the context here (letting)
