Le terme se trouve dans un document détaillant les caractéristiques d'un étrier d'ascenseur. Voici le terme en contexte :

Suspension: - 1:1 Top Suspension
- 2:1 Underslung Parallel

Je sais que 1:1 et 2:1 font référence au facteur de mouflage et je visualise à peu près les configurations des ascenseurs correspondantes, mais je bute sur "underslung" et "parallel".
Pour "underslung", j'ai trouvé "ascenseur suspendu par le dessous" dans un brevet (https://patentscope.wipo.int/search/en/detail.jsf?docId=WO20... mais je suis moyennement convaincu.
