Bonjour,

Dans un document sur la remise en état des ressources en eau traditionnelles en Inde, je tombe sur le terme 'encroachment' qui me pose problème.
Ci-après deux phrases d'exemples où le terme apparaît sous forme de substantif et de verbe :

Owing to encroachment and siltation, the pond area had shrunk to almost....
Many of the irrigation channels are heavily silted, weeded up and encroached upon, and are therefore unusable.

Puis-je parler d'envahissement selon vous ?

si c'est à la mer, ça peut être du sable

si c'est un étang, envahissement par les roseaux - sans doute ça après "weeding"

Asker: L'auteur a peut-être omis le terme sand devant encroachment. Dans ce cas, je pourrais parler d'envasement pour heavily silted, d'envahissement par les mauvaises herbes pour weeded up et d'ensablement pour encroachment...
