Il n'est pas impossible qu'on parle des "semi-conducteurs": parmi les sociétés nommées dans les résultats 2017 pour l'Europe, c'est un thème qui revient. Si vous ne pouvez avoir confirmation du sens dans le reste du texte, votre idée de vous en tenir à "semi" m'apparaît la plus sûre.

Pourquoi mentionner l'Europe ? Car avant cela, il est question des résultats au É.-U.

Malheureusement le projet est à rendre lundi matin. Il est donc impossible d'attendre le retour du client...
Dans le doute, je crois que je vais conserver l'ambiguïté et traduire par "semi" tout simplement, même si je pencherais pour la réponse d'AllegroTrans.
