Je me demande comment rendre cette tournure en français.
Dans le contexte qui m'intéresse, deux personnes se retrouvent après dix ans sans s'être vues et s'expliquent au sujet d'une embrouille qui les avait opposée dix ans plus tôt. Le premier veut expliquer au second ce qui s'est réellement passé. Et l'autre de lui dire :"Eh bien vas-y, raconte, dis-moi ce qui s'est réellement passé" et ajoute "Let's get that cleared off the table".
