English term or phrase: general commercial company
I don't have more context that the following:
A French company has been registered as a General Commercial Company in ENGLAND AND WALES.
I am assuming there is a strong likelihood that it will translate literally into French but just in case, could anyone confirm that there isn't any particular differences in statute between such a company in England and in France, that should be seen in its French name?
Thank you.

Compagnie commerciale générale
Explanation:
The accronym SARL usually goes after the name of the company, and I don't think you need have any qualms but you could always contact your nearest French Embassy commercial section or the British Embassy if you are in France.
