In other words, I'm trying to trebble, quadrupple check the translation aspect of it, to highlight for his French lawyer the areas needing seeing into which can not be applied to differences/loss in translation.

I don't have any qualms with the SARL and so on in French. And I'm almost certain there isn't any major difference between the French one and the British one. But there is something odd about the acts of association my friend received from his lawyers in the UK, and we were wondering if there is a difference between "general commercial company" in England and Wales and "une compagnie commerciale g�n�rale" in France. If either is only part of the other, something like this? Or if he is having some very odd lawyers and should change or have his act seriously looked into by a professional lawyer.
