I'm sorry to bother you about this, guys, but I need to send this legal letter off and I'm so furious I can't speak English, let alone French. I'd appreciate it greatly if you could phrase it somewhat "legally" and not as offending as it might be now (French is such a polite language!) It's three phrases, three installments. ("Dear Sir" and all the ending flourishes I can manage :-))

Phrase:


The sum in question, 148,74 E, was paid by me by cheque, written out to Intrum Justitia, on November 9, 2003. The above cheque was debited by my bank on November 19, 2002. Therefore, I consider the payment to the abovementioned Intrum Justitia being made on my part.
