SUMP FILLING UNIT
The engine oil level is automatically topped up with the aid of the sump filling unit if the oil level in the engine sump becomes too low. After the contact switch/starting switch has been placed in the OFF position, the VFC ensures that after 1 hour, oil from the sump filling unit's reservoir is allowed to pass via the oil filling valve for a maximum of 5 minutes. This action is activated by the "oil too low" signal from the sensor in the **sump pan**.
